Not what I've ran into. Just place a call so TMobile logs the IMEI in as active and then wait 40 days. Also put your sim back in when you call them and call from that phone to get unlocked.

Like the other poster explained, there are a lot of advantages to the V60 for not much more. I just upgraded from the V30 to the G8. Otherwise, I'd totally upgrade to the V60 for this price

LG said the V40 will get Android 10. It launched with Android 8. So you will get Android 12 one day with this phone. Will be after Samsung S20 gets Android 12 but who cares. It's way cheaper.
