Mesh is better. I have the orbi system and it's been great. I also bought an Ally system from microcenter $40 for my parents which kills wifi signal like crazy and it works well for them.

That is a main advantage over Orbi, whose wifi 6 is not compatible with wifi 5 nodes. But Velop wifi 6 is still too expensive - need a deal!
