Confirmed it does work with the roku xfinity stream app with limited basic TV. Didn't need any activation, the channels are just there.

You seem the be correct, just checked on the Xfinity Flex box and Showtime is only available as subscription anymore. Epix still shows 'Freeview' until April 19

Thanks. I believe I do have Streampix (I think that's what they call it), as well as limited basic (the lowest possible tier) TV. At the time it was cheaper than just internet service by itself.

I did try, and the Xfinity app on Roku requires logging in as an Xfinity user who has Streaming service.
