If you are thinking about one without a wired back haul then no. Otherwise it will work as a cheap router working as an extender. The selling point is to use more of them in a mesh than an extender.

Subscription based wifi that doesn't support AX. That doesn't support IPV6 without external hardware which defeats the point of their gear. That doesn't have a power cable so it's hard to hardwire...
