Not sure if I remember correctly or not, but Google Fi uses T-Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular. So if Google Fi isn't getting signal at your house, T-Mobile probably isn't much better..?

Unless you only need a line for the short term, there's no way to determine if these plans are actually a deal or not without knowing the plans' prices after the initial 60 days.

I was taxed only on the sim cards. The plan itself was not taxed, but im in NV, taxes might depend on your local/state rules. My next payment says $60 for 4 lines, no taxes.

Im in Nevada and no taxes was charged,for the plan. Taxes only for the sim cards. Also, its better to activate instore or on the phone, the web method will fail and lock up/reserve the sim cards...
