You are going to either have black bars on the side, a stretched image, or a zoomed in image with the top and bottom cropped off. PS4 doesn't support 21:9 aspect ratio

Not really. Two monitors usually are set up to create a curve. This is flat and fairly small too.

I use a LG 29 UW at home for work and i love it. IDK about this panel but I'd say it's very good for work functions, not the best for gaming.

You mean base fit flush to the stand? I just set mine up today and didn't have any trouble. The ring has to face forward. Then you can tilt the whole assembly to get the screen angle that you like.
