I think these are meant to replace porch lights vs the ones you mount along your fence line or anywhere else you want light but not able to wire it with electricity.

It seems obvious that those people should not attempt to mount, or wire these lights themselves. Just wait until they swing open the door on their electrical power panel and see all those circuit...

Would not even know where to begin trying to wire these things on the outside of my house. Also, I really wish they were 3000K and not 5000K in color. I guess it makes sense for security lighting...

🚨 Wires is always 💯 better Than solar. My wife’s lights are bright and have been working for years. The solar deteriorated quite a bit after the first year. We get lots of sun in TX, the solar panel...

Am I missing something? The image clearly shows the back and that it’s hardwired. You can see the hot neutral and ground

There is no way a 4000 lumen light is solar. Looked like a cool deal for security lights.

Are these hardwired or solar powered? Doesn't make sense for hardwired to last only 208 days (50,000 LED life hours divided by 24 hour/day), more indicative of solar.

Your math solution needs some work... The answer would be closer to 4166 days (50k/12hr=days).

3 pages debating solar or not. Anyone own these? How far out do they light up? Have a walk out basement door that needs a light over it but don't need a lighthouse beacon up there.

Per the other thread posts here, in the site review comments, Honeywell responded with solar power comment. Perhaps it was a mistake, but it’s causing confusion.

What a pain to install. Who wants to hardwire these type of lights anymore. Solar for this type of stuff is fine nowadays.

Not a fan of daylight color for night time use near residential. Daylight color has more blue content and messes up circadian rhythm that tells your body when to go to sleep.

These are wired correct? One of reviews on the site states solar powered?
Post #135775694 added 03-26-2020 10:29 AM by DavidPumpkins in Deal Talk
Their reps are apparently complete dingbats, spamming responses to all reviews. I'd take any of their comments with a grain of salt.
