While I agree that the future is mirrorless, I use lots of Canon glass on my Fuji mirrorless with a Fringer adapter. There's no reason to sell the glass.

The Sports indicator means it's sealed against weather conditions. Like all lenses it's not 100% sealed to the worst weather, but it does give you protection, more than the basic lens.
