Ru8000 is a 2019 TV, you may have this confused with the Nu800 which is the 2018 model.

"IF" it was the previous year model ( UN75NU8000) It was comparable to the Q60. Then.... I would say it's probably not worth $600 for the upgrade.

I got the 65” RU8000 almost a year ago from Fry’s for $699. Great TV for the price, especially playing games with my One X. It can be super bright if you set it up right (not that hard at all)....

In order to use "4K @120hz because no video card can do that yet" you need a TV with a 2.1 HDMI. the only TV's with HDMI 2.1 are LG Oled TV's 2019 up or QLED 8K 2020. all the TV's right now use HDMI...

If you're the type of person that can't tell 4K from 1080p, I'd recommend something cheaper, like the 65in Samsung for 480. Nothing anyone ask, but I think this information will be useful to some...

Just beware of any DSE in the center of the TV. Just put on a white screen and check for any discoloration. Other than that..its a great deal
