While some older cables may work on 4K/60 HDR for a short run, many will not. Even some cables that are supposed to work are not terribly reliable at 4K/60 when you venture into the unknown brands....

agreed. too many 0 and 1s being pushed through the cable. It'll heat the cable up and might catch fire. You don't want a HDMI fire. It's invisible yet super colorful.

If you read the first post, it says to select the black cable, which is 10gbps and cannot handle 4k/hdr/60fps. The red cable is 18gbps and can handle 4k/60fps, but it's not on sale.
