You're right, the TN panel does have pretty good color after a little adjustment. I got it (AW2518HF, freesync model) for my son more than a year ago and he loves it.

Pretty crazy time. Now you can have 240hz monitors AND IPS in one. And this is a very good price considering the TN's sell for about the same.

This is the newly released model IPS model (AW2521HF) not the older TN version (AW2518HF). There are no sites brought up from a Google search which currently have a lower price for the AW2521HF.

i don't think i've seen this brought up, but do realize that this doesn't completely outclass a 240hz TN monitor. sure, you'll get better colors and viewing angles, but you'll lose performance wise...
