Frozen, Captain Marvel, and Iron Man were $10 each in mid February, some of the rest were $13 and that was a one day sale. The same titles were $15 and $20 each in December, not $10 each.

I think everyone knows that, I just figured a free preview of the whole list might be helpful. Not often we can list more than a few titles that are available elsewhere.

Idk why but 95% of my game/movie shipments from Best Buy are either damaged or the disc comes loose during shipment. Anyone else experience this?

Not sure if everybody's crystal ball is going to be accurate anymore on this stuff. Before, being on Disney+ I thought would drive them down to $10 or less. Now, with consumer internet probably...

How many of these Marvel movies are true 4K and not 2K upscales?

Well Toy story 4 on 4k Blu-ray was much better to my eyes then Disney plus. It just looks better.

At least here in California half the people I know are out of work due to their company being temporarily closed. Then a lot of the people who are working are worried about getting essentials and are...

I have 400-600mbps and it’s still not as good as 4K Blu Ray imo. Streaming is the more convenient, but physical disks is the most reliable and absolute best quality option. Plus, what will you do if...

I have had a lot come loose during shipping, but luckily nothing bad enough to damage the disc surface. This isn't limited to best buy for me though. Amazon, ebay, etc I get a rare disc loose....

I have 400mbps too; video quality looks at least at Blu-ray/1080p disc level based on what I remember movies looking like when we still watched from disc. But, yes, I almost always buy the...

Really wish they would reissue the Up steelbook. I don't think any of the other Pixar steelbooks were ever as limited as that one was.

Also, remember that almost all these titles (except for a few of the live-action Marvel ones, I think maybe IRON MAN) are on 2K masters that were upscaled for UHD release, and so not worth it to get,...

Predicting prices will only go up as more people have to stay at home and demand for entertainment increases.

these are good prices, but I can't bite unless they run another b2g1 sale or something with titles I missed out on

Most include Dolby Vision but only through the included Movies Anywhere code. On disc you have uncompressed 4K (well upconverted 2K) with HDR and Dolby Atmos.

This deal is the reason me and many others won’t support day 1 at $35 going forward.

Frozen 4K steelbook was $9.99 (instead of $12.99 now) in mid February. For me $10 or less is the key, so they could drop the prices to $10 or run another B2G1F at $15 each. However, considering...

Just to state the obvious, but Disney+ has all of this. Might be worth a free trial if you want to check some of them out before committing.
Post #135840596 added 03-29-2020 12:32 PM by supermanrob in Deal Talk
Well just to state the other obvious but streaming is still inferior to disc especially when it comes to the audio portion. I will point out that your equipment comes into play on how much the...

Very true. Streaming quality varies depending on your ISP and as such you also have to have a device that supports 4K for Disney Plus as well as potentially HDR, Dolby Vision, and Dolby Atmos for...

Why is it the ones that I *do* buy get insane clearance prices, whilst the ones I forget to buy triple in price in a couple of months?

How much better than disney plus? Any of these dolby vision?
Post #135841583 added 03-29-2020 1:24 PM by supermanrob in Deal Talk
Well I believe that is why WE said “to state the obvious”. Just keep in mind even as a “preview” it doesn’t change the fact it’s still inferior.
Post #135838616 added 03-29-2020 10:48 AM by hotel02 in Deal Talk
They were $15 and B2G1 free, which works out to $10 each. I bought 6 at that time.

These were $10 each a week before Christmas and that price again a month ago. I would wait for them to drop again.
Post #135836738 added 03-29-2020 9:14 AM by The_Wilder_Spirit in Deal Talk
I agree. A lot of those were the same price or less a month ago. Prices should drop further at some point.

You can check blu-ray.com, keep in mind the transfer makes the bigger difference. A not so good “true 4K” transfer vs a good “2K upscales”, 2K upscale will be better.
