Yes, but a 35 f/1.8 is perfect as well, it won't miss focus and is very light and cheap. Get it asap and snap away at f/1.8 or f/2.
Second would be the 50 f/1.8.

For this price it is a must have if you don't own it already. Heavy, so adapting it to sony APC-S, with the exception of the a6600, will really weigh you down.
