Evoo and Overpowered are remarkably high quality, high performing machines.

I think it's better to wait for the release of the new mobile ryzen notebooks, who knows, they might run a fire sale of Intel notebooks

The other one is a better deal. The GTX 1050 is a low end card. I have an older HP laptop with this same card it can handle older titles and simplistic games like LOL, Overwatch, Path of Exile, Grim...

For $150 more which laptop has a 1660 Ti? There is one left in stock, definitely a better deal than this!

VIP OUTLET is in Arkansas. same as Walmart HQ. They handle many Walmart closeouts and overstocks. I bought a Lenovo all in one with IPS that I really like. Always check out the actual VIP website....

crap it sold out. I need to quit delaying

Wait for a deal with more modern stuff, you'll usually get better power saving (longer battery life bc processors are more efficient) and and the battery itself won't be as depleted.

Pretty close to a good deal for a budget gaming laptop. The 1050 is still a lot better than integrated, but you should really spend an extra 50 bucks or whatever to get something with more than 2GB...

Nvidia should have never made the 1050 at it's current spec, it's almost worthless vs an ordinary APU...

honestly can you find a better deal for a 144hz laptop? just 144hz alone is easy on the eyes for browsing SD
Post #135882335 added 03-31-2020 10:49 AM by nyanta in Deal Talk
This isn't bad for the price, just keep your expectations in check, this wont get you 144hz in AAA games, but coming from playing games off of intel integrated graphics, this will be a world of...

I bought the i7 that was posted recently and I am very impressed with it. Snappy and super fast in every way, I am still shocked. My only grip, is battery life on max settings but I am over it. I...

Got it, read your previous post as there currently is a deal with a 1660 TI. Mind sharing the specs of that Dell? Good to know what type of deals to expect. :-D

It's still a decent spec for under $500. You can still play some new-ish AAA games on it with everything turned to low at 720P. And for a laptop that might only see school work and Fortnite,...

I agree with others they’re not pricing reasonably. Seems to be a good unit but at this stage paying almost $500 doesn’t really make sense. Fair price considering original sale price, use, age etc...

Worth about $150, GPU is worthless

The processing power is more of an issue than the 2gb of vram will ever be in modern games. But that's why I said "for competitive games" (CSGO, LoL, Dota, etc). The G3 you linked is 60hz, which is...

I grabbed the 1060 Overpowered that popped up today. If you watch the page they seem to add a few in stock every day. I'll try it out and see how I like it. The deals aren't too great right now...

it was considered a killer deal at the time for $466 it's still decent if -everything's in working order -you want to play mainly competitive games which will take advantage of the 144hz display.

Is the other one for $150 more worth the difference (assuming it comes back in stock)?
Post #135873803 added 03-31-2020 3:56 AM by MostBased in Deal Talk
Spend $150 more on a deal with a 1660 TI or at least 1650 or 1050 TI. The 2GB RAM on the 1050 severely limits it for modern games, making this laptop sort of obsolete.
