USB A can be used for any phone if you have the right cable. Older smart phones used USB A to micro USB plug, etc

For 5A, i like the apple 2m cable. I have others and they're rather bulky For 3A i tend to go with monoprice. Had a couple dozen of their usb c cables over the last several years and not a problem...

No, the S20 uses a standard that isn't supported by pretty much any charger but the stock Samsung one at this point.

If you use quality ones from Anker, Aukey or Ravpower you should be okay. Note that the phone has to support quick charge to begin with.
