I have arlo pro 2 and arlo pro3 2k and i recommend the 2k one makes big difference have not tried the 4K one yet but I’m sure the zoom in quality would be the best.

Sorry but I wouldn't buy anything short of a 1080P camera these days. 720p is just too outdated. You can watch reviews on youtube and check out the camera quality yourself.

IMO 720p is not good enough for a security system. It's okay if you want to see IF someone is there but if you want to see WHO is there than 1080p should be the minimum. When you actually need it...

I have four in use since July 2017. Varies by motion usage. Back door = 3-5 months. Front door = 4-8 weeks. It’s been a great system for us.

Just to clarify, the statement about motion detection is not accurate. You can absolutely get motion detection alerts without paying a cent. Maybe not all the advanced alerts, but basic alerts work...
