I have arlo pro 2 and arlo pro3 2k and i recommend the 2k one makes big difference have not tried the 4K one yet but I’m sure the zoom in quality would be the best.

Arlo Pro 2 are the best FREE system within the Arlo ecosystem. They have 1080P resolution with no monthly/subscription fees and the batteries are rechargable. Just my .02

Sorry but I wouldn't buy anything short of a 1080P camera these days. 720p is just too outdated. You can watch reviews on youtube and check out the camera quality yourself.

Just to clarify, the statement about motion detection is not accurate. You can absolutely get motion detection alerts without paying a cent. Maybe not all the advanced alerts, but basic alerts work...
