No experience with the 502, but the g402 is such a nice everyday use mouse....it’s supposedly the fastest one (even though dpi is lower than others) because it uses an accelerometer and gyro to sense...

A high DPI isn't actually that big of a deal at all. Most professional game players use 400-800 DPI. If you don't believe me, look it up yourself and search "esports players dpi".

My buddy recommended the g502 hero because the mouse in its entirety is just better. Plain and simple. So I would just wait for that or go get it for $37 which is still a decent deal.
