Synthetic does last longer, however you should go by with whatever your car manufacturer recommends for your model. However I am always a little skeptical about 10k or 15k mile oil change intervals....

Agreed. I run this and other oil in the $15-22 range in my '14 Mazda 3 hatch. My last Blackstone oil analysis at 7k miles (70k on car) said everything looked great, try 9k miles next time.
