Not to "thread crap" but the new import Irwins aren't great quality. The tool metal they are using is pretty soft so, don't expect them to hold up well to heavy use. Probably fine for a DIY around...

I have the groovelock pliers, definitely not great, seems like its pretty soft metal and the teeth folded on my pretty easy gripping a iron pipe. 15 year old knipex still going strong comparatively.
