Just use this link after logging in https://register.ubisoft.com/assassins-creed-2/en-US Just hit the PC icon and the game will be added to your library without going through uplay.

I've clicked through and it says it's been added to my library, but when I view my library it's not showing in my games owned. Is there some sort of delay people are seeing?

AC2 on PS3 has a trophy bug. Half way into the game, one of the chapter trophy may not get unlocked.

If you go to https://uplay.ubisoft.com/ and login... You should be able to either click on your profile (in the top-right of the screen). That will effect a pop-out, and you should see it...

Can confirm it works, I claimed on my macbook. The landing page is a little confusing/misleading. Click on the box with the pc icon (it's an iframe) should switch to the uplay login. Log in to...

All Ubisoft games require Uplay. It's not locked to the Platform; you can get it on Steam or Epic. You just need Uplay to run alongside either client because it's a form of DRM
