Actually, I ended up canceling the order next day and instead ordered directly from Apple via their Education store. The Edu discount is available for anyone, they don't do any checks for this now....

Good deal if you want an everyday-joe kind of MacBook (not in a bad way). I wouldn’t waste the extra money on the i5 or i7 models. Apple’s cooling solution cannot keep up with these quad core chips....
