Great for entryways, you can also configure them to illuminate a different "scene" like 20% brightness in my case, based on the time, at 11pm. Pretty nifty if you have a proper use case.

The software has been updated so if motion isn’t detected after a set amount of time you can have the light “do nothing”, turn off, or return to a previous state.

I have a ST motion sensor hooked up to my garage tube lights (on a wemo mini). I also have an outdoor Hue sensor directly talking to ST as a generic sensor to control all my PAR38 outdoor lights.

Check hue labs as they should have fixed this, though I have not verified as i took it out of my living room for this exact reason (they would turn off every 20 min) so I swapped the living room...
