I probably have the same one. It’s terrible, but functional, especially for $80. I agree with ya; this is definitely awesome if I had extra money to blow.
That’s true but u can can’t carry 34 inch monitor in starbucks even though I wish I could lol
The trio I want is $558! That being said, I'm thinking about it!
It seems in this case ZDNet is drop-shipping which would make ZDNet the actual seller, with the manufacturer directly shipping the item. I received this message with my order confirm:

Was going to buy it until I saw how it would look on my 13" MacBook Pro. Eh on the esthetics.
I'd be weary of attaching that to my main laptop screen, the weight is likely to cause the hinges to fail early since consumer models hinges barely hold up long term with even factory weight.
Not sure. I didn't know about the store until I found this deal.
I wonder if this is what happened that stolen Razr laptop during CES.... Either way this looks great for those of us who worked remotely and need to finish up some stuff while traveling.
Hell else will anyone will you tell anyone else you're a developer?
Def Can’t. Unless someone creates a kickstart campaign to build a backpack to carry your 34inch monitor around lol
Confucius say: there is no such thing as can't, only not trying hard enough.
Since when ZDNET started selling stuff?
I thought it is a magazine website.
By the way, this is cheaper than one in amazon though.
You can buy the docking station for the surface pro.
sprry. you are right. I checked my purchases and it did cost me $10, but still worth it.

that's looks nice and clever design. I have an older AOC 15.6 USB when I need another screen on the go, not that great, but functional, this looks nice, can't justify since I have the AOC and I am on...
Pretty cool.
You can also order a trio back a Dual screen for $249 in their Indiegogo project.

Did not know ZDNet had started selling things.
now has "ZDNet ACADEMY + DEALS"
Is this just a marketplace for 3rd party sellers? Or are they actually the "seller?
Does anyone know if this requires type-c port to support DisplayPort mode? I see that package includes USB-A cable, but...
this is pretty cool
but if you are a developer/designer and you're primary working setup is a laptop...well imo you're not being efficient.
dev should be working with dual 24" 1920x1200 screens...
This is just a rebranded stacksocial deal. A couple of sites partner with them to offer items.

Mine shipped out same day (today) from ARCADIA, CA.
yea, I really wish my Surface Pro could double has a monitor but it only has Video Out :(
Primary working setup as a laptop is okay if you're expected to be in many in person meetings. Now I would highly suggest a usbc docking station as a main setup with dual monitors.
can't or won't?
Cheaper alternatives:
if you already have an iPad, you can use the free Duet app for Windows or Sidecar on Macbook to make the iPad an external monitor.
if you already have a not-too-small...
Amazon listing for reviews. I don't own this yet. Just bought it today and thought I would share.
Not sure I need this, but was playing with the coupon codes. In the cart there is the ability to add $100 store credit for $80. There are also free subscriptions that run through the cart, so you...
I lived in a small TX interstate town of about 8,000 for two years, and watched a fellow bring his 27" imac in to Starbucks and set it up on more than one occasion. He was north of 65, which made it...
It came today. Was super easy to physically install, but it didn't just turn on and start working when i plugged it into USB-C...had to update drivers. I downloaded what they had on the MobilePixels...
One word: Amazing!
If you’re a developer or a designer this is for you. Am never wrong
Que?
