FYI, 5V, 1A USB charging is very slow by today's standard, so I would suggest not to let that feature sway your decision.

Using 4 batteries and swapping out is ideal. This makes for a perfect setup for a remote control. They'll lose a tiny amount when stored, but it's something on the order of 10% in a year.
