I have both this and the Milwaukee 12v (brush) and I find them to both be great! You do get a lot more ecosystem products in the 12v Milwaukee. They seem to have one for nearly every job.

I have this set and use them way more often than my bigger, nicer Makita drill/driver. They have plenty of power for all the home projects I’ve thrown at them, and are so compact and maneuverable.

Ordered yesterday and got it today. Date stamp on charger is February 2019 and the driver is October 2019. Batteries are kinda small, but we'll see how long they as after a full charge.
