Cool white is closest to the lighting in a salon or makeup mirror. It's shows the true colors. Daylight looks "warmer" but distorts colors.

For wafer lights? That is a small room and might be over kill for 8 lights. Just put a dimmer in to be safe.

Literally just got done installing the wafer style. You only need about 1/2" of clearance. I had water pipes and ducts and they slipped right under.

Actually, most manufacturers - including Lithonia mentioned here in this deal - have selectable colors. They are usually 3 options for each light, like (2700k, 3000k, 3500k) or (3000k, 4000k, 5000k).

You need to have a drywall ceiling to install these. If you have exposed joists, then get actual can lights with the brackets that mount between the joists. You can leave these exposed and paint them...
