I switched to adapalene 2 yrs ago from a benzoyl peroxide/salicylic acid regimen and regret it. I have moderate acne with occasional cysts and adapalene alone does not do much for me after using it...

Yeah if you need adapalene or stronger then you really need to be removing oil. Adap just help push cysts to the surface. Most people use it and get worse at first and stop. You need to use it...
