Site says 11lbs. There are no moving parts so it's basically a 10 gal plastic bucket on casters. Should be easy to move. I recommend experimenting to see how full it can get while being comfortable...

I toasted a shop vac using it on ash; got in the bearings. Some manufacturers sell finer filters for such debris, so it could be that your filter is just "good".
