+1 on Seachem Prime. Have 120g heavily planted discus and shrimp tank for the last 10.years. Use water straight out of faucet and 1 capful of prime. Never had any issues or casuailities.

Nope just dose for what your changing. Using more wont hurt the fish but it’s not necessary.
