It's the 2020 model and it has not been professionally reviewed. Sony's 700s series TV are not worth the extra cost. Their 800s are better but still mid-tier

Nobody pays for the name unless is associated with quality. Brands like Sony or Panasonic cannot afford to make bad products since their name is at stake. On the other hand the "small three" might be...

Brand loyalty will get you nowhere. If you're worried about longevity which you shouldn't be you can usually buy an extended warranty and pay less for a better tv from Hisense TCL or Vizio and still...

No reason to buy a Sony until you get to the 900 series and up. The price to performance ratio just isn't there in the 700 / 800 series. Much more bang for the buck in Hisense and TCL TV's for $500 -...

To each his own. Not everybody sees value in a Vizio or TCL, myself included.

It has nothing to do with brand loyalty but more with knowing that specs don't tell the whole story. Some of us care about quality and workmanship more than features and specs. Just take a look at...

If you don’t need wide angles for viewing I’d stay away from IPS panels like this one. They produce washed out blacks. Go for the 900 series for a VA panel. But I’d you have a wide living room and...

I'm a big fan of the android TV interface and sonys but haven't used this one. I have a a1e so I am very biased

It's because the whole viewing angle thing is so overblown it's gotten ridiculous. Would you rather have an IPS tv you can watch at an awkward extreme angle and get terrible contrast and overall poor...

Agreed, only thing I'd add is that Hisense H9F should be on that list (reminds me of early Vizio).

Ive had expensive Sony and Samsung sets break well before their time and had poor build quality. Ive also had Vizios and Hisense setsthat were well made and outlasted other sets, and also one that...

You know, I've seen the same TVs with a RTINGS score of 5.5 for viewing angles on VA panels, and I've seen them in person, and I couldn't believe how much of a viewing angle shift you won't notice in...

Looks like Sony beefed up the specs of the 2020 X750H compared to the previous 2018 X750F. The upgrades include a picture processor and wide color gamut with TRILUMINOS display both of which were...

This is a pretty basic tv in terms of screen technology. There are better picture quality 65” sets for similar price. Vizio M/P or TCL 6 series are a few to look at. Sony has some fantastic sets but...

They look pretty similar in specs. I would get the 65" 750H($748) over the 65" 800G($848) and the 55" 800G($498) over the 55" 750H($598) based on the prices at Walmart today.

This TV is par with a 70" TCL 4 series or a Vizio V series which are much cheaper.... that's the extra cost and it's not worth due to a better build quality
