Sure, high levels of fluoride can be bad for you. But high levels of Vitamin A, D and E can be bad for you too. If you eat an entire tube of toothpaste, you may get sick, but certainly won't die....

No evidence that consuming (drinking) fluoride is beneficial. In fact it has been shown to be a neurotoxin. I haven’t used fluoride in years and none in my toothpaste either and no cavities.
