Im wondering the same thing. The AOC has usb ports and you get to buy it from Amazon with easy return if any issues. Never bought from Monoprice. Any insight would be appreciated.

Has all the specs I want and at a great price point. If it had USB 2.0 C I’d pull the trigger.

I hear that. But even if I don’t need that, it seems like a good price for a 34” ultrawide? They are usually 600-700+

Quantum Dot panel can be ips, the 125% sRGB is not going to improve color accuracy. If you are using this for video/photo editing, you want color consistency which is what the ips panel will...

Exactly. My only guess is many new Chromebooks and "Ultrabooks" (like Macbook) have USB C only output. But, most of those people will have a breakout dongle... so I don't really get why. Weird.

Seems better than the 120 Hz Alienware I paid like 6-something for on a great sale. At this price, I think only the 144 Hz LG that was like once on sale for $700 could compete.

Seems like a fair price considering monitors like this at 144Hz cost $700+, but unlike those this panel has VA—not IPS.

3440x1440 on a 34" (109PPI) is equivalent to 2560x1440 on a 27" (108PPI), in fact they have the same physical height but are just 30% wider. Ultrawides are more expensive than their 16:9 equivalents...
