Thanks, considering this is upgrading me from a 990fx chipset and FX8350 BE, I think I can sacrifice the ryzen 4000 upgrade path and not regret it much.

Sounds like a hard drive issue. One of our office machines is a b450 max and 3600. Not a noticeable difference in boot vs a z370 and 9900k. Both are on 970 evos for drives

Had ordered this last week. After hearing about AMDs bait n switch or whatever, canceled it and got the x570 prime p. Will upgrade from the 3600 to some 4xxx cpu in two years.
