These are very good bottles but one downside is that they have a tendency to build up gunk in the top part which is pretty hard to clean.

I never buy Contigo products because they’re not dishwasher safe. Spend an extra $5-$10 for a dishwasher safe cup, bottle, whatever and be assured of a sparkling clean.
