Monoprice has multiple tv wall mounts are the same price and size. Why is this one a good deal? Does it have features the other wall mounts don't have?

Agree, I have a cheap $10 amazon single stud 42", 60lbs rated max in my garage. For the hell of it, I put up my damaged 65" 40lbs tv, a little scary at first but its holding up just fine.

For a 55" TV, is there any advantage to using a larger mount, like one that fits TV's up to 65" or 70"? Actually, I have metal studs and am installing near a corner. This wall plate is only 17.7"...

I know this is old, but fyi: double check your vesa mount pattern, bc this may vary between mounts... I've seen 400 x 400 max, as well as some 800 x 400 max. I'm looking for a mount door a 65"
