Rival series is recommended for 14+, the sting may be too strong for children 8 and under. Bestbuy has the wrong age rating for this, if you look at the box image, top left corner shows 14+....

I think this has the fastest rounds-per-minute rate of any production nerf gun, and a rechargeable battery. I recommend eye protection with anything, ever. I think this went down to 60 for one...

The Perses normally goes for 99.99. I ended up buying one a few days ago used for $80 and now regret it. Its an incredible blaster and if I wasn't away from home right now I'd pick up a bunch more...
