I went through three 5.1 models and they all have terrible audio sync issues that could never be fixed. Between that and 2/3 Vizio TV's we owned dying in the first year, I would stay away from Vizio...

The sb46514 is an older model. F6 means 2018 models. The sb36514 was released in 2019.

I could be wrong but you’re probably not getting atmos as I believe only eARC supports Atmos passthrough, which only a few newer high end TV’s have.

There was no F6 of this model. The F6 was a 5.1.2 that had known connection and firmware issues (apparently later resolved through updates). I don’t know why people keep confusing the 514 and 512...

he one on BF is 5.1.2 which has 2 upward speakers on the sound bar but none on the satellite speakers. The 5.1.4 has an additional upward speaker in each of the two rear satellite.

I think the Black Friday deal you're talking about was the 5.1.2 system. There were not rear upward firing speakers in that, only front upward firing. Also the 5.1.2 system has had a lot of reports...

Real upward firing speakers were present in that model also. Also somewhat that 9.1 is misleading in title. It’s 5. System not 9. System
