Yes, it could draw that amount of power... If everything is maxed out. Typically you'll have it rubbing for 30 seconds. So you could need a dedicated circuit, but that'll depend on what other devices...

I disagree unless you or another frequent user has a wide-load. Thigh spillover can make the control arm difficult to reach and can make the experience uncomfortably gouging. Skinnies: go for it.

I actually tested it when I first got it but I forget what the wattage was. I did the math and calculated that it would consume about $30 a year in electricity. Well worth the expense in my opinion....
