It has some really good parts, but feels like it skips over a lot of stuff at the same time. Band of Brothers skips time as well, but it mostly felt like the start to finish journey of that company....

The Pacific builds up more slowly than Band of Brothers. However, it is worth it to stick with it but I may be a bit bias. I watch The Pacific, Band of Brothers and Taking Chance every year...

Band of Brothers is the best show. I couldn't get past the first episode of The Pacific couple years ago, I have the discs somewhere,I'll give it another shot.

Did you absolutely love Band of Brothers? My wife and I did too! The Pacific is not nearly as good. My wife wife and I only made it about 2/3s in before we quit watching this and moved on.

I suggest getting HBO now either pay the $10 at the end of the month or cancel before the month ends and you have access to like band of Brothers and the Pacific and everything else like Chernobyl...

It is and I have watched this and Band of Brothers series on amazon prime video like 3 times already. Every couple of years when I need a good ww2 fix I revisit either of those series.
