was excited untill I saw the down votes. looked like a good deal esp considering that it has a native 120 refresh rate. are there other better deals? insights please.

$1469? I thought it'd be $879 for the 75" and $1699 for the 86" C8 set from this week saving books, https://www.costco.com/online-offers.html. I'm going for the 86"

If HDR matters to you at all, then don't buy an LG LCD, since peak brightness and contrast ratio are typically poor in the LG LCD offerings.
