I don’t know. I use to have a membership years ago and when I did this they didn’t give me any issue. I would assume as long as your current membership lapses you’d be fine to go get a new card.

I think the physical card you have to get from the customer service counter but you don't actually need one. You can download the app and just use that if you want.
