velocity = flow / area you can convert the fpm to mph. area changes with nozzle size. don't think this really helps you in terms of rating discussion and making a decision, but fyi.

I have the older 600cfm model and I have a very large yard with huge oak and maple trees. It blows the leaves very well, even when wet. You need to invest in a heavy gauge extension cord.

I have last years model of this (WG520). It is a good leaf blower. It has enough power to blow away the dog poo into the neighbors yard. It does a mediocre job of drying a car even if waxed/sealed....

Don't know why it doesn't come with a nozzle that gives more directional and higher speed airflow. 135mph doesn't do much with heavier stuff.
