Tip for those not getting alerts. Change your alert threshold from the default value of "+2" to "Any".
When this was originally posted, it had a -2 rating for some reason.

Do these servers recognize 12 or 14 TB HDDs. ?
I'm toying with the idea of buying one to run use for NAS/Plex and would like to add a couple of really large HDDs.

I have not noticed any issues. I assume it's the same PCIe bus that it connects to. There are no chips on the adapter.

Do the adapters cause any performance degradation vs on-board m.2 NVMe slot? Or are they simply pass-throughs with no chipset in between, so performance should be the same?

I picked this up off ebay for about the same price. Great compact server but I had to buy a few things to round it off.

It's for unbuffered ECC (buffered/registered ECC is plentiful and cheap on eBay but does not work with this server).

Wow, i thought my nvme ssd has problem so i bought evo 860 sata 3 for it :(. So sad, did you upgrade ram for it? I want to buy another 8gb but don't know what compatible for this server.
