When I did the deal with the free ratchet a few weeks ago it was just the normal retail packaging. They actually shipped the free tool separately from the kit.

I thought the same but I just had to drill into my stucco and while the regular mode would have been fine, using the hammer mode on the m12 fuel just made it go so much faster. I assume it's more...

Which is funny, since TTI makes both. They also make Ridgid. That would be awesome. I just got the Ryobi brad nailer. It's great to not have to fill up the compressor, but it's damn heavy compared...

Like I said again and again, they both use the same batteries (cells). Please search. And it wouldn't make sense that Milwaukee is going to use a more premium cells on a cheaper product. Like they...

Love my M12 fuel tools. Haven't regretted ANY of my milwaukee purchases. The only things mine (previous gen) have ever had problems with were trying to break nuts loose (it's not meant for that)...

Exactly. The M18 is total overkill. The M18 is for pro contractors doing specialized jobs that can take advantage of that extra power beyond driving deck screws (i.e. drilling into concrete). And...

Wondering if I should quit waiting on a Ryobi brushless deal and just snag one of these kits. Only concern is it seems like there are waaay less tools in this M12 line?

That's not a terrible idea... Buy this for the drill/impact and have a set of Ryobis for all the other stuff. Would be nice to have everything on one platform but I guess that's not absolutely...

Just how many tools do you need? They’re expanding the line but I hardly use anything other than this hammer drill and impact driver.
I think for more ~$27, this is better deal - https://slickdeals.net/f/14067824-dewalt-20v-max-xr-lithium-ion-brushless-premium-hammerdrill-amp-amp-impact-driver-combo-kit-5-0ah-dck299p2-226-79
Is the 6.0 battery really Last a lot longer? I was looking at the deal with the free ratchet instead.

Go to HD to handle & consider the tools you'll buy. Maybe a 12V stick or a 18V slider fits better in your hand. Maybe the M12 ratchet or inflator is what you want to leverage the smaller...

I really like my M12 tools for stuff around the the house. I regularly use the drill, driver, and hackzall. The smaller battery makes the tool easier to handle and a lot lighter to haul around. ...

No way Milwaukee M12 is the best by a long shot and it’s only improving every year.
