I bought one of RAV's solar chargers last month. It started out great, but after only a few uses, the charging has dropped from warp speed to a trickle. I would recommend finding another device.

No, slow charging. It definitely needs DIRECT sunlight. Any clouds or shadows will turn it off which is why I'm guessing people are having bad experiences using it.
