I'm a mobile dev mostly, iOS and Android, and 32GB makes compilation and emulation a lot nicer. If I have to run an api locally it also buys me more headroom so that I don't experience locks.

Tax was definitely there for me at the final step, right before paying. There were 4 numbers, Macbook pro price, tax, and the 8% discount, and the total to be charged.

Haven’t read anything, but in my opinion doesn’t hurt to wait until WWDC (late June) in case they do update this. I’m hoping for 32gb ram/ 1tb ssd combination for around $2800 msrp.
