I used to use k&n filters but there were a bunch of problems starting a few years ago. Guy at my trackdays blew the threads off of his k&n filter at the end of the straight when he was doing 150mph....

Thanks, ordered a Hi-Flo. I wouldn't have had time to do the oil change this past weekend anyway. The k&n from Amazon is free returns so I'll just ship it back.

For automotive I use wix filters, for my motorcycle I use nothing but hi-flo.

A bunch of track and race orgs have banned these pos' - they became garbage after they stopped using HiFlo to make their filters and went to save a few cents with a Chi-Com maker.
HiFlo or OEM.
