Why do these companies go to multiple different sets of battery voltage? I already have several 40v and 80v tools. The 80v tools are far superior and I love them though.

Someone else has the Snapper :) It is kinda stupid that the batteries between the snapper and Greenworks have different interfaces. They are the same battery.

The FREEDOM20 code works on all of their products, not just the mower, I also used it to get the blower, weed whacker combo with an extra 4.0 battery.

No, the thing they shipped is miniature and not self propelled. Switching out the battery would not make it worth it.
