Because the name brand like Webber will last at least 20 years because of the cast iron pot. The char broil might last 5 yrs if you are lucky. In this case you get what you pay for.

Have the 4 burner, you get what you pay for. Build quality is good. Gets pretty hot as long as it's not cool/windy out. Heat is not even at all, front is way hotter than the back.

Keep it covered (breathable not some vinyl with no vents), if you're not going to cover and clean it regularly dont' bother asking what grill will last...none of them in your price range will
