It’s not due to lint, because you can just wash lint off. It’s because the top part stretches out after a few weeks and is too loose, so it just slides off.

Having these silicone cases with keychain is really not advisable. You will literally lose you airpods because there is not lock on the cover. I bought myself a leather case with a button lock.

I thought that I heard somewhere if you put a piece of double stick tape on the inside of the top cover it will hold on much better/longer. Just a thought.
